WWDA is seeking expert advisors for the Virtual Centre

Women and Girls with Disability Australia (WWDA) has received funding to develop a new Virtual Centre for Women and Girls with Disability.

The Virtual Centre will be a one-stop website that provides accessible, relevant and high-quality information and resources for women and girls with disability on their rights to:

  1. decision-making and agency
  2. leadership and participation
  3. sexual and reproductive health; and
  4. safety from all forms of violence.

To ensure that the Virtual Centre design and development is led by women and girls with Disability for women and girls with Disability, an Expert Advisory Panel is being formed.

WWDA is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from women with disability (or relevant organisations/groups) who are interested in becoming members of the Expert Advisory Panel.

The Expert Advisory Panel will be comprised of a diverse group of women with disability with expertise across a range of different areas. Panel members will be called on as required to provide expert advice on the Virtual Centre’s content, design, accessibility and promotion.

Panel consultations will occur between mid-April and November 2019.

The Terms of Reference provide more details on how the Panel will work. These are available via the following links:
