On August 21, following recent announcements about the NDIS, Disability Representative Organisations (DROs) released a joint statement to highlight the need for co-design in NDIS reforms.
Last week’s announcement came as a surprise to DROs and others in our community. We are seeking clarity about the scope and timelines of these changes and how they will fit within the broader system of foundational supports. We are calling for reform that centres the voices and needs of people with disability.
