Role

Senior Policy Officer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Policy Officer to strengthen our systemic advocacy and strategic influence at a national level.

In this critical role, you will support the development of high level, evidence based policy advice, submissions and position papers that shape systemic reform. You will ensure WWDA’s positions are grounded in research, lived experience and community engagement, while remaining responsive to emerging issues in the disability, gender and broader social justice landscapes.

Working closely with the Senior Manager, Policy & Advocacy, you will represent WWDA in consultations and forums, engage with stakeholders across government and the disability and gender equality sectors, and translate complex policy issues into clear, impactful recommendations.

Senior Member Engagement Officer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Member Engagement Officer to lead the delivery of our membership engagement strategy.

In this role, you will develop and implement an organisation-wide member engagement strategy, ensuring members are meaningfully engaged, informed, and able to shape WWDA’s work and priorities.

You will also manage the full membership lifecycle, oversee our CRM and member relationships, and design engaging forums, events and advisory mechanisms that reflect accessibility and inclusivity. Working collaboratively across WWDA, you will ensure members’ voices and lived experience are central to our advocacy and strategic direction.
