In mid 2021, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will be introducing compulsory Independent Assessments for all NDIS participants.

In response to widespread concerns about these changes, the Australian Government’s Joint Standing Committee on the NDIS, has announced a major parliamentary inquiry into the changes.

You can read about the inquiry on the Parliament of Australia website.

As the national representative organisation for women girls, feminine identifying and non-binary people with disability, will making a submission to the inquiry and are very keen to hear the views of our members on this issue so that we can ensure our Submission to the Parliament Inquiry, includes the voices of our members.
