Become a Member

Becoming a Women With Disabilities Australia (WWDA) member is free and a great way to connect with other like-minded people who support our work. We have two membership options available:

Full Membership

To become a Full Member you must be a woman, feminine identifying or non-binary person who:

  • identifies as having a disability
  • is aged 15 years or above
  • is living in Australia. 

Benefits:

  • attend WWDA’s Annual General Meeting and vote on decisions
  • receive regular updates on WWDA’s work
  • gain access to WWDA’s archive of resources 
  • join WWDA’s closed Facebook group of women and girls with disability 

take part in projects, consultations, training, volunteer and paid work opportunities with WWDA.

Associate Membership

To be an Associate Member you must either be;  

  1. A woman, feminine identifying or non-binary person who:
  • is aged 15 years or above
  • is living in Australia
  • in the reasonable opinion of the Board, is supportive of the aims and objectives of WWDA. (links to constitution download)
  • An Organisation who in the reasonable opinion of the Board, is supportive of the aims and objectives of WWDA.

Benefits:

  • attend WWDA’s Annual General Meeting
  • receive regular updates of WWDA’s work
  • gain access to our archive of resources 
  • take part in consultations, surveys and projects aimed at improving the welfare and rights of women and girls with disability.
