WWDA is looking for a Project Officer to deliver an exciting new project to improve and expand Our Site, a website that was co-designed with women and girls with disabilities across Australia and launched in 2022. The Project Officer will work alongside the Project Director, Content Development and Communications Officer and the wider WWDA team to ensure the smooth running and implementation and successful delivery of this national project.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Project Officer plays a key role in assisting with working in co-design with women and girls with a disability to identify gaps in Our Site to improve the accessibility, safety and awareness and understanding around sex, relationships, education and multiple forms of violence against women and girls with disability. The project officer will assist in working closely with various co-design committees and be involved in the facilitation of workshops and user testing across the country, reporting and collating feedback for the project team for improved functionality easier navigation and web-site design features.
The Project Officer will have skills and knowledge of accessible website designs and user experience and functionality principles and or be willing to undertake training to be able to do so.

The successful candidate will be required to attain a satisfactory National Police check and a Working with Vulnerable Persons/Children check.
