In June, WWDA CEO Sophie Cusworth attended the 18th Session of COSP – the UN Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

Sophie represented WWDA and our community, highlighting critical issues affecting women, girls and gender-diverse people with disabilities. Sophie also delivered an intervention in the General Debate, calling on governments to include women, girls and gender diverse people with disabilities when putting the Convention into action.
