In a letter to the Department of Social Services, WWDA CEO Sophie Cusworth expressed full support for the National Advocacy Collective’s submission on General Foundational Supports.
The letter emphasised the fundamental human right of people with disabilities to have a family and parent children, highlighting obligations under the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
