The National Disability Strategy (NDS) 2010-2020 is the national policy framework to guide Australian governments to meet their obligations under the United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), which entered into force in Australia in 2008.
Governments across Australia are working together to design a new strategy to guide disability policy, programs and legislation over the next 10 years. The new Strategy will uphold and reflect Australia’s commitments under the CRPD.
Right to opportunity: is the Consultation report released by the Federal Government to help shape the next national disability strategy.
