In March 2023, WWDA made a submission to the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee inquiry into the ‘The Current and proposed sexual consent laws in Australia.’ The submission supports the call for national harmonisation of consent laws across Australia, while drawing attention to the need for consideration of the unique experiences of women, feminine identifying and non-binary people with disability.
