In 2024, Women With Disabilities Australia (WWDA) and Jean Hailes partnered to release two new Easy Read fact sheets. The fact sheets were developed to empower women with disabilities to take charge of their health.
Your women’s health care team
The first fact sheet, “Your women’s health care team,” introduces the diverse range of health professionals who specialise in women’s health, including GPs, pelvic floor physiotherapists, gynaecologists, endocrinologists, dietitians, and psychologists. It explains the role of each professional and how they can contribute to overall wellbeing.
