Submission to the Attorney-General’s Department on the Family Law Amendment Bill 2023

In February 2023, WWDA made a submission to the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department on the Family Law Amendment Bill 2023.

While it is recognised that The Family Law Act and associated court proceedings require reform and simplification, WWDA is concerned that the proposed amendments to the Act could, unintentionally increase discrimination against women with disability in court proceedings.
