In 2020 WWDA worked with the Commonwealth Children and Youth Disability Network (CCYDN) to develop a COVID-19 Hospital Communication Passport to support children, young people and adults with disabilities who need to go to hospital during the pandemic.
The hospital communication passport is a valuable tool to help children, young people and their families to communicate vital information about their medical and support needs to medical practitioners.
The passport has been developed in many different languages and is a free to use resource across the Commonwealth. To access and use the passport, you can download the interactive PDF below, or get in touch with our WWDA staff member and CCYDN executive member, Heidi La Paglia at Director@wwda.org.au
