Neve

Neve is a safe and empowering space where you can connect, learn, and share your stories. We understand the unique challenges and triumphs of living with a disability, and we've created Neve, a space where everyone can feel safe, supported, and empowered.

After two years of working closely with the WWDA community, we are excited to introduce Neve.

Neve is a safe and accessible website by and for women, girls, and gender-diverse people with disabilities. Neve explores our shared experiences. Some experiences are hard. Some are empowering. Neve offers a place to learn and a place to take action.

What you’ll find on Neve

  • Awareness and advocacy: Learn about the issues affecting our community and find ways to make your voice heard. You deserve to be safe.
  • Support for you: Everyone needs help sometimes. On Neve, you’ll find ideas to cope and links to practical support. You matter.
  • Wellbeing: Explore ways to care for ourselves and others. Find information to help you heal and recover, get to know your body, and get the most out of life.
  • Storytelling: Share your own stories and read about others’ experiences.
  • Educational resources: Access guides, articles, and fact sheets on various topics important to women with disabilities.

Resources for everyone

Neve isn’t just for women with disabilities. We also have a dedicated section for families and supporters. People and organisations who work with our community also have a dedicated section, including free professional development courses.

Built by the community, for the community

Neve was created thanks to the incredible contributions of over 200 women and gender-diverse people with disabilities, along with their families, support networks and professionals. Your voices and lived experiences have shaped Neve into a valuable resource for everyone in our community.
