Today, Women With Disabilities Australia (WWDA) is thrilled to officially launch Neve, a ground-breaking website co-designed by and for women, girls and gender diverse people with disabilities. Neve is a ground-breaking website in that it is in Easy Read. We believe this to be the first Easy Read first website. You can navigate to a plain English mode of the website too!
The website focuses on sex, healthy relationships, wellbeing and practical support. It also provides information on violence, abuse and safety. It is for women and gender diverse people with disabilities, their families, and those in the services sector who support them.
Neve is more than just a website; it’s a safe, accessible, and empowering online space where our community can:
- Explore shared experiences: Connect with others who understand your journey.
- Access vital information: Find resources on 70+ topics relevant to your life.
- Feel supported: Discover tools and advice for well-being and empowerment.
- Relax and recharge: Visit the Calm Space for a moment of peace.
Neve is designed with your needs in mind:
- Easy Read and plain English options: Choose the format that works best for you.
- Accessible navigation: Customize text size, use text-to-speech, and navigate with ease.
- Community-led content: Information and stories created by and for our community.
