The NDIS Review, launched in October 2022, aimed to put people with disabilities back at the heart of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The review focused on restoring trust, confidence and pride in the scheme by gathering stories and insights from people with lived experience of the NDIS.
WWDA actively participated in the review process, ensuring the voices of women, girls, and gender diverse people with disabilities were heard. We submitted responses to consultation papers, shared information and resources, and advocated for meaningful improvements to the NDIS.
