WWDA is taking Our Site to the next level by increasing the accessibility and usability of the website by and for women with disability. In co-design, we are developing a new section of the existing website that will focus on sex, relationships, relationship education, and the multiple forms of violence and abuse that affect women and girls with disability.
As part of our co-design process, we are hosting 3 x 1.5-hour online workshops. We are inviting all parents and carers, women and gender-diverse people with disability, and sector representatives. During these interactive sessions, we will discuss various topics related to the content women with disabilities, parents and carers, and professionals who support women with disabilities would like to see on the new website. The workshops will provide an opportunity for participants to share their experiences, perspectives, and recommendations, fostering an environment of mutual learning and dialogue.
