Terms and Conditions for attending online Workshops

  • For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, WWDA refers to the organisation who is running the Workshops. WWDA stands for Women With Disabilities Australia.
  • For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, ‘the Workshops’ refers to the Public Decision Making Workshops.

  • The Workshops will be recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded but wish to participate in any of the Workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure that your camera is off, and your Zoom name is changed.
  • The Workshops are only open to residents of Australia.
  • All participants of the Workshops will be provided with one WWDA Merchandise pack if they have provided WWDA an address to send these promotional packs.
  • A merchandise pack is limited to one per person.
  • By participating in the Workshops means that you are eligible to participate.
  • Participants that are aged between 15-18 years warrant that you have sought consent to participate from a relevant parent or guardian.
  • Only one ticket per person will be accepted. Anyone that requires a carer or other person to attend the workshop will be allowed to be part of the Workshops without requiring a ticket.
  • WWDA will not be held liable for any failure of the Workshops.
  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, WWDA shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the Workshops or any promotional material for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
  • WWDA cannot change these terms and conditions part way through the promotion, or create and enforce terms and conditions retrospectively, unless in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond WWDA’s reasonable control. In this case, WWDA reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Workshops or these terms and conditions.
  • WWDA’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • Participants that breach these terms and conditions will be removed from the Workshops.
  • The WWDA Merchandise pack is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • The giveaway and these terms and conditions are governed by Australian law and are subject to all applicable federal and state and territory laws and regulations. Nothing in these terms and conditions purports to limit, exclude, or modify the operation of those laws and regulations.
