Lead, Engage, Activate, Drive: We can all be leaders
We believe in the power of every woman, girl, and gender-diverse person with a disability to lead and make a difference. From 2019-2024, through the WWDA LEAD project, we created opportunities and resources for our community to highlight the importance of being leaders and to build leadership skills.
The WWDA LEAD—Lead, Engage, Activate, and Drive project was funded in 2019 with support from the National Disability Insurance Scheme’s Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) Program. During its duration, the project was also administered and funded by the Australian Department of Social Services (DSS), to promote and advance the leadership, agency, autonomy, human rights, and freedoms of women, girls, and gender-diverse people with disabilities, both individually and collectively.
